Established in 1988, Cardiacare Center, P.C. was started by Dr. E. Michael Weiss who at the time was a practicing cardiologist for just a little over 3 years .The intention as the name implies was to see to all of or as many of your heart or cardiovascular needs and to do so in a way to avoid hospitalizations unless they became imperative for your safety and well being. The process involved a gradual accumulation and updating not only state of the art medical science but by the careful clinical guidance by experience and continued education as well. Today Cardiacare Center, P.C. continues to see thousands of patients annually and help prevent heart attacks, strokes, improve weakened hearts. When required we see to it that your most important invasive, interventional and surgical procedures are met at nationally recognized top hospitals; all the while Dr. Michael Weiss continuing to monitor your progress. We make it our business to avoid what you do not need and to treat you with the least risky treatment modalities, opting for the best possible resolution of each individual’s disorder.
Heart disease requires careful monitoring, follow up, safe and efficacious interventions, medications as well as instituting vital lifestyle measures towards this goal. We don’t practice a cook book medicine; instead we custom tailor each individual's treatment towards his or her particular needs. At times after due diligence we prescribe nothing but reassurance . We do not take your trust and confidence lightly and try each day to live up to our reputation of almost three decades of excellent and high quality care. Dr. Weiss considers himself blessed and very fortunate to serve the cardiovascular needs of so many and does so gladly, Educating our patients complements the teamwork required for the best possible results.
Dr. Weiss recently noted that the terrain of heart disease has changed drastically for both the bad and the good. It's for that very reason that it's vital to know and understand the intricacies, ins and outs of how heart disorders present themselves in 2015-16 that will more likely result in a favorable outcome. It is precisely here where Dr. Weiss brings three decades of continued experience and education to the table; striving to improve with each and every day he serves those that call upon him. Join us at Cardiacare Center, P.C. as we’ve been" listening to you and your hearts" (coined by Dr. Weiss 1988) for almost 25 years now and will continue to do so.
